The City's contractor, DL Barkie, is ready to begin gate valve replacements throughout town to complete this project.  Due to many non-working valves, shutting off of water to an extended portion of town may be necessary to isolate the area to be worked on.  Personnel will exercise due diligence and attempt to notify those affected and maintain minimal disruption for as short of time as possible, however, aging infrastructure may pose unexpected challenges.  If you see them in your area be prepared for possible disruption of water service.  Your understanding is appreciated.
