PRIORITY 1: After a major snowstorm or blizzard, the following streets and avenues will be opened first (designated in pink on map below); Dakota Ave.,3'd Street, Iowa Ave. & Missouri Drive. These streets have been designated as major emergency arteries in the City of Riverdale. Priority 1 snow removal includes the Fire & Ambulance driveway. PRIORITY 2: After Priority 1 streets and avenues have been cleared of snow, residential streets and avenues (beginning with 1st Street) will begin to be cleared of snow (designated in green on the map below). When at all possible, snow will be piled onto the adjacent curb where residences are not located. PRIORITY 3: After Priority 2 streets and avenues have been cleared of snow, commercial streets and avenues will be cleared of snow (designated in blue on map below). PRIORITY 4: Priority 4 is the parking lot and sidewalk around the City square. This area will be cleared of snow as time allows. Priority 5 streets and avenues will not be cleared of snow (designated in purple on the map below). Tenth Street between Iowa Ave. and Missouri Drive will be closed for the winter
